Captain Bones - "Reaper of the Sea"

Real Name: Reyes Randi
Age: 25
Nationality: Western European Mutt
Skills: Master swordsman, has deadly aim with a rifle and throwing things, and is really strong in melee combat
Weapons of Choice: An Indian scimitar (Endless), a French sabre (Reign), a flintlock pistol (Quartz), dirk (Vigor), and dagger (Illusion), his weapons have been modified for him, they are heavy weapons and takes a long time to adjust to, for Bones they come natural
Physical: Tall, standing at 6’4 ft tall, lanky and not to broad, but well muscled. His muscles are so well built that it takes a while for a blade to cut him. He is just a really well fit guy, not a trace of fat on his body, just pure muscle. Punch to his abs doesn’t even faze him. His left eye is green and stark white hair, and pale skin, giving him the name Bones. Has a ram skull with crossed swords on the left side of his chest, right over where his heart is. He has an eyepatch over his right eye, covering up his right eye, which is not green, but blue. There is a vertical scar that stretches from his eyebrow to his chin, but other than that, he is pretty good looking for a pirate. Three silver ear rings adorn his right ear.

Personality:
Intimidating and a stern person, but he is actually a nice guy. He’s gruff and impassive but he does care about his crew. He doesn’t laugh much, usually he’s laughing with a smirk on his face, never laughing genuinely. He is captain, and he expects people to obey his commands, captain’s word is law. If anyone disobeys him, he is merciless in his threat, and will make the person walk the plank, no he won’t walk the plank, Bones will just chunk him overboard. He’s a no-nonsense person when he’s in business mode. But he’s easy going and treats his crew like family, not subordinates, which they like. He has the absolute trust and admiration of his grew. He is calm, and collected and not the first to attack. But in case he is attacked, he is always prepared as he carries two swords at his side, a scimitar, and a sabre. But concealed from view by his jacket, he has a dirk and dagger in his belt on his back. He’s crafty, good with his words and is a master planner. Bones can also take an insult with a straight face and counter with a stream of insults, no one can out-insult him. He’s very hard to anger but when he is, his wrath is something to beware. Bones is rough with everyone, he’s not gentle, but he won’t hurt people for no reason. That goes the same for women, he’ll handle them roughly, but he won’t hurt them, although he doesn’t tolerate them saddling up to him or seducing him, he likes women who put up a fight.
History:
He was the illegitimate child of the governor and a female pirate his “father” had captured. He was sent to be raised by farm hands, his father wouldn't even look at him, as his mother was found dead after he was reached 3 years of age after naming him Reyes, committing suicide to save herself the humiliation. He was then captured by pirates at age 7, the captain of the pirates being the true lover of his mother, so the captain, Axel, took him in as his own son. Reyes was given the name Bones, for his sickly white skin and hair. Bones then worked on the ship until the role of captain was passed onto him. Axel is still alive and on the ship, serving as the doctor. Bones took the rank of captain at age 17 and has commandeered Maelstrom for 8 years already.
Extra:
He doesn’t give out his real name, preferring to go by Bones. Only his first mate knows his real name. Got his name from his pale appearance and his white hair. His ship is called Maelstrom and his flag has the same design as the tattoo on his chest. Captain Bones has a huge bounty on his head and is wanted by the government. It’s because of him that many towns are behaving accordingly, not wanting to make Captain Bones come to their port. People say Bones works for justice, but pirating is still frowned upon by the government and they are out to get him. When he fights, his right side is a weakness, but he has learned to fight very well even though he’s at a disadvantage. Even though he’s a pirate, many civilians admire him and want him to come to town because he’s actually the good guy.

First Mate Devil Claw

Real Name: Weis Eniz
Age: 20
Nationality: Central European, near Germany
Skills: His swordsmanship almost rivals that of Captain Bones. He specializes in melee combat via kicking and on top of that all is an amazing cook.
Physical: Slightly shorter than the captain, but still a towering 6 foot tall. He is thin and not heavily built with most of his power in his legs. He has great upper body strength and hitting him is the same as running into a brick wall. He has golden eyes which are unnatural in appearance and his skin is tanned. His bright red hair earned him the nickname devil as a kid and coupled with his eye color, the name stuck with the addition of the claw suffix. A scar runs up over his left eye and curves up and across his forehead. On his right ear he also has three earrings, one a cross, another a short and small silver chain, and the third a gold ring.
Personality:
Normally quite emotionless and passive. He has a few things he will get worked up over, but generally the only emotion he displays is anger. As first mate, he makes sure that the ship runs smoothly and all the captain’s orders are obeyed. If you go against the captains orders, you’d better hope the captain disposes of you. Weis isn’t as... merciful... as the captain when he’s mad. However, he will do all he can to keep the crew together, keep morale high, and keep everyone protected. Besides his duty’s as first mate, he also keeps the galley running smoothly and because of his cooking prowess, the Maelstrom is famed for the best food on the high seas. As far as weaponry, he carries two swords. On his right hip sits his trusty sabre, highwind. More a piece of art than an instrument of death, no one but him would dare use something as elegant as this sword, and he wields it well. Due to its odd design, he has had to develop his own style to use it effectively. He calls it windweaving, and the style perfectly imitates the sword in its elegance... and its lethality has made Weis infamous. On his back he carries a sword as unique as the style he created to wield his swords. Slipknot cannot be classified and is just as elegant as, if not more than, highwind. No one in the world could possibly wield anything like it. It is after all a sword he made himself. These are the only two weapons he ever uses. He isn’t much for guns or ranged weapons... mostly because he’s a terrible aim. But with a sword style that shatter a ship’s keel, what more would he need? It’s a force no one would want to have against them, which is why people avoid making him mad. One thing that can really get him in a rage though is someone mistreating a lady. He can tolerate such things as captain Bones’ rough style, but any beatings, leering, or harassment of them will put you face to face with a pure deamon.
History: He was born far inland in England, but he always dreamed of the sea. Raised in a relatively middle-class family, he learned proper etiquette, which he chose to ignore. His family was dysfunctional and his parents never cared much for him, so, the first chance he got he ditched them and went to sea to become a pirate. When Captain Bones found him, he was only 17 and had already earned a name for himself. In fact, where the captain found him was enough to earn him a name. Bones came across him floating on a wasted hulk of a ship, smoking a pipe. The crew of the entire ship had been killed by Weis who had raided the ship on his own. Weis took on Captain Bones and for the first time lost a fight, which is where he got the scar over his eye. Amazed at the Captain’s strength, he resolved to become a part of his crew. To this day, Captain Bones is the only person he respects as an authority figure
Extra:
Weis’ nickname was earned by his most infamous move from the windweaver style. The Devil Claw is quite possibly one of the most dangerous sword attacks in history. Mastery of the move would allow one to completely slice through an entire galleon ship in one fell swing. Also, to this day, Weis is the only one who knows the captain’s real name.

Bosun (boatswain) - Boreal: inspects the ship, makes sure it's in good condition, in charge of all deck activites, large African American man, muscular and strong, but fears the captain and lieutenant

Doctor - Axel (ex-captain): the former captain of The Maelstrom, he is retired but he stays on the ship and works at its doctor, tending to the wounded and sick, he's regarded for his experience as a former captain and respected

Cooper/Carpenter - Rowan: the fixer on the boat, he makes barrels to keep their supplies in, as well as makes furniture out of wood for the captain and ship, he fixes anything broken, medium height, but bulky man

Gunner/Weapons Manager - Trigger: the arsenal master, he's in charge of all the supplies needed in combat, he makes sure all the guns are loaded, the cannonballs within easy access of the cannons, spears, pikes, and javelins in separate barrels for easy access, slight built, average height man

Age: 21
Nationality: British , Russian
Skills: Her Shooting isn't something to scouff at.
Physical: She is a very attractive young lady with a perfectly portional body. With a slight Muscle build. Her body is well toned and a glowing tan. Her eye's a teal color. She has long wavey and brunette hair.
Personality:
Sweet and very caring. But piss her off and feel her wrath. although she looks frail she has a very strong punch and her kick is worse. She get's angry occasionally. She is a very headstrong kind of girl. And she is very stubborn.
History: She was born In the america's while her Father and Mother were on Vacation and she was then immeadiatly sent home with ehr family to britian where she grew up in a small town eventualoly governed by her Father. at the age of thirteen her mother died Of an illness. Since then she had been a little quiter then she orginally was and her father turned into a cruel heartless selfish man.
Extra: after being aboard the ship with the captain and first mate for awhile she eventaully has to work with the rest of the crew and there she truly comes out discovering new things about herself and becoming a new person like a flower just blooming.

Windweaving moves:

Maoutsume - (devil claw -) A distance attack that causes a double powerful disturbance of the air, caused by precise movements with the swords. The two blasts hit seconds apart, the first, a knockback, and the second, a powerful cutting or shattering blast, depending on how the move is performed. The move is powerful enough to shatter or even slice ships.

Shippuudasha - (battering gale -) Close range. The user utilizes the aerodynamics of the sword to increase speed of movement, in turn allowing the user to deliver a series of jabs in rapid succession. If done perfectly, it is nearly imposible to parray such an attack

Arashi kiritateru - (tempest slash -) The user takes advantage of aerodynamics of the swords and the natural air flow to produce rapid, fluid motion with the swords in a flurry of slashes. If the user is strong enough, the attack can even shread iron or steel.

Ichijin sendan - (wind shear -) A quick flourish of the swords produces a strong blast of focused wind that flies at the enemy. If given enough power, the blow can shatter bones, rupture organs, and sometimes even cut skin.

Yariuindo - (wind spear -) One of the most powerful of the aerial distortion moves. It causes a very focused blast, like a spear, that distorts the air enough to bend light, making it visible as a faint, blue spear-like object.

Atsui omote - (warm front -) Slightly misnamed. A focused set of slashes creates friction in the air that superheats the air. One final slash with the broadside of one sword sends the superheated air at the enemy

Hokouuido - (wind walk -) While in the air, a series of kicks and broadside slashes keeps the user in the air. The motions must be fast in order to not allow the air to part around the object or there won't be enough resistance to push off. The speed required for the move makes it unnavailable to most people.

Chi Based Moves

Kyoudanchi - chi bullet The user focuses his chi or life energy, into his swords or some other object they can direct the shot with. The energy is then released in a powerfully accurate blast that pierces with intensity greater than a normal bullet. The power is based on the strength of the user. Note, swords, staves, and guns are all acceptable mediums for focusing the shot.
